When you’re building a 170-acre school property, you need a huge amount of concrete. For this regional school in southern Virginia, Silverback poured 3,000 cubic yards of footers in a mere five weeks. We had three excavators running twelve hours a day, pouring 200 cubic yards every afternoon. One requirement was that we would pour concrete within 24 hours of opening footers, and we hit that target every time, pouring over 700 cubic yards per week.

This project is especially meaningful to us — Silverback has called this church home for 27 years. After pouring the original foundation years ago, we’re honored to build the new addition. We went beyond the plans with wider, deeper footings and extra reinforcement to create a strong, lasting foundation built on faith for generations to come.
