Alta Equipment is an industry-leading material handling and construction equipment company. They sell, service and rent a broad range of equipment throughout the Midwest, Northeast and Florida.

Silverback helped build a massive 30,000-square-foot facility for Alta in Midway, Florida. Just how massive is that, you ask? Put it this way: if you set this building down in a football stadium, it would span more than half the field. Go long!

Alta’s new space needed to house large, heavy construction equipment and uphold an expansive roof. We built an 8″ slab-on-grade, isolated footings and grade beams that can stand for generations.

Thanks to good old-fashioned grit and timely deliveries from Smyrna Ready Mix, we poured 1,100 cubic yards of concrete well ahead of schedule. In fact, the client expected a five-week turnaround, and we finished in half the time.
