UF DCP Collaboratory Project

Silverback is proud to support the University of Florida as a trusted concrete partner. For the new College of Design, Construction and Planning, we delivered footings and cast-in-place walls with a standout feature: a true 1×8 board finish on the exterior walls. This authentic, organic texture delivers both striking beauty and lasting strength.

Mecklenburg Middle & High School

Silverback delivered 3,000 cubic yards of footers for a new 170-acre regional school in southern Virginia — all in just five weeks. Operating three excavators twelve hours a day, we poured 200 cubic yards every afternoon while consistently placing concrete within 24 hours of opening the footers, exceeding 700 cubic yards per week.

Christ Community Church

This project is especially meaningful to us — Silverback has called this church home for 27 years. After pouring the original foundation years ago, we’re honored to build the new addition. We went beyond the plans with wider, deeper footings and extra reinforcement to create a strong, lasting foundation built on faith for generations to come.

FS25

Silverback is proud to partner with Blackwater Construction Services on Fire Station 25 in Putnam County. We’re handling the full structural concrete scope — prepping, placing, and finishing the spread footings that form the foundation for this vital new station. This project will deliver faster emergency response and a safer community for years to come.

Celebration Pointe

Silverback delivered 3,000 cubic yards of footers and slab-on-grade concrete for Celebration Pointe in Gainesville, FL. Completed in 2019 with Viking Construction, this project provided a strong, reliable foundation for the development.

The Rock Church

In Gainesville’s loose soil, conventional forming methods wouldn’t hold the footers in place. Silverback solved this by implementing a Stayform System, keeping the forms steady and secure throughout placement for Celebration Pointe.

Gulf Coast Home

Silverback delivered a hurricane-resistant foundation for a 4,000 sq ft custom home in Palm Harbor, FL. We poured 85 cubic yards of grade beams, 34 cast-in-place columns (16″ x 12′ tall), and tie beams — totaling nearly 200 cubic yards of concrete. This robust, high-rise style system ensures exceptional strength against Gulf Coast storms.

Alta Equipment Company

Silverback built a robust 30,000-square-foot facility for Alta Equipment in Midway, Florida. We delivered an 8″ slab-on-grade, isolated footings, and grade beams — pouring 1,100 cubic yards of concrete ahead of schedule. What the client expected in five weeks, we completed in just half the time.

Gupta Residence

Silverback poured 580+ cubic yards of concrete for a waterfront home in Bradenton, Florida. Facing 2–3 month backlogs with local suppliers, we brought our own mobile batch plant to keep the project on schedule. Bonus: our crew enjoyed daily lunch-break fishing right on site while working with the great team at GM2.

A1, B1 & B2 Apartments

Silverback has partnered with Viking Construction on numerous projects across the South. At Celebration Pointe in Gainesville, we served as turnkey concrete subcontractor for three apartment buildings — building eight four-story CMU stair towers and one four-story CMU elevator. We poured cellular concrete into the blocks for maximum strength and provided our own concrete, pumps, and termite treatment for complete quality assurance.
